Cheesy French Fries With Chicken Toppings

French Fries are always a hot favourite for any kids eespecially
(well I am not one anymore) or a matter of fact for everyone now a days enjoying fast food.To make the fries at home from scratch is one good thing and to customize it the way you like is just wonderful.

I always thought cheese makes a good friendship with the fries and you can enjoy it any time of the day…But what’s new then.So i thought why not add the chicken and turn this friendship into this beautiful triangular love story.Voila!!
There you are with this awesome guilt free snack where bubbling cheese and subtle hint of rosemary makes you go nuts…

Ingredients

Potatoes – 2 large
Cheese Slices -2 no(I used Britannia cow milk cheese,cheddar would be good too)
Chicken Sausage -2 (I used Vienna Chicken sausage,you can use anything of your choice too)
Chicken Pepper Mortadella Slices – 1(cut into strips)
Red Chilly Flakes – 2tablespoons
Rosemary – 1 tablespoons
Salt – to taste
Oil – for deep fry
Cold Icy Water- a large bowl

Procedure

For The French Fries

1.Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1/4 inch sticks.
2.Rinse them well with cold water and refrigerate for 30 min in the bowl.
3.Take a large deep bottomed fry pan and heat the oil till medium low.
4.Drain the fries from the cold water and pat them dry with a towel.
5.Increase the heat to medium high and fry them for 10 min till they are soft.
6.Rest for 15 min and second fry till they are crunchy well done.
7.Sprinkle salt.

For The Toppings

1.Cook the sausage according to the manufacturer’s instructions and cut them into even pieces.
2.Roast the mortadella strips.

Final Procedure

1.Arrange the fries into a heap on a microwave plate.
2.Now add the cheese and the chicken toppings alternately.
3.Drizzle the red chilly flakes and rosemary.
4.Microwave at full power for a minute.
5.Serve with a hint of mustard sauce.

Additional Notes
If you don’t want mortadella chicken you can opt for chicken salami slices.
Any sausage type goes perfectly with the recipe.
You can also use tomato ketchup instead of mustard sauce.
Instead of making fries from scratch buy frozen and prepare them.
